Music has been part of Tom’s life even before he was born. At the age of three he was driving his mom crazy playing drums on the highchair or plinking out the melody or Harmony lines from radio & television on the family piano. His Dad went to auctions And would bring home any musical instruments he could find. Before long Tom had An accordion, slide trombone, violin, sax, flute, banjo, ukulele, mandolin, & his first microphone and amp. Then Feb 1964 The Ed Sullivan Show, the songs, the melodies, the harmonies, THE BEATLES. His next birthday he got his first new instruments a Ludwig snare & a honer harmonica.

At age 7 he was in his first rock band where he and the guitar player wrote two songs. Tom remembers hearing a tape years later, our music sounded great but our voices sounded like Alvin & the Chipmunks. They were getting paying gigs within the year. Different bands, projects & musical styles followed. Some of which include, two albums And some videos with the popular new wave band Dangerous Ground where he played Drums and backup vocals.

Two albums with the jazz band The Roland Brothers, where he played drums, bass guitar, keys, backup vocals, one of the other musicians brought in for the recording was in the Miles Davis band. Tom has also done commercials; TV show’s and opened for Sweet, Eric Burden, Brian Auger, Greg Kihn, Robin Trower to name a few.

Tom has been in different bands with Bill Church since 1989 and with Perry Hodge for a number of years now. Tom says of Bill and Perry they're not just great players and song writers, they're great people.

Tom’s influences include Buddy Rich, Sandy Nelson, Freddy Gruber, Rush, Genesis, Kansas, The Mahavishnu Orchestra, E.L.P, Yes, Three Dog Night, Everly Brothers, Jango Rhinehart, Jaco, Zappa & The Beatles, to name just a few of so many . . .
